Two Acre Queen Anne Estate in Walkable Decatur

Well maintained 100 year old historic home. Convenient to all that Decatur has to offer. Large wooded lot with quiet backyard offered a relaxing stay.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this property. The historic cottage has character and charm. I loved the high ceilings, beautiful hardwood floors and large windows. The back porch is very nice. I enjoyed sitting there reading and watching the wildlife in the back yard. And the yard is amazing. It is a great size and seems like your own little nature preserve in the middle of the city. We saw numerous types of birds, lots of squirrels, fireflies and the highlight was the 3 owls that we saw often. It really was enchanting. We brought our dog with us and the property was perfect for her. The home is very close to downtown Decatur so there is plenty to do. The neighborhood is very nice. It is great for walking, jogging and walking your dog. The road is pretty loud but that just comes with the territory. The host was very nice. She left some thoughtful welcoming gifts and stayed in touch throughout our stay. It was a great experience. Highly recommend!

I rented this to get ready for my wedding and it could not have been more perfect. It was so cute and so much space.

Lovely residence with historic registration. It is comfortable and well appointed with good flow for company. The street is busy, but there is a nice yard with ample parking inside the perimeter. Good neighborhood for walking and/or running. Great eateries nearby and close to downtown Decatur. Walking distance to Agnes Scott College.

Spacious home with verrry comfortable beds. Easy walk to Oakhurst village and downtown Decatur. Would book again!
